What Is MICA?

M.I.C.A. is a Christian Association of baptized, spirit-filled leaders organized on

June 26, 1999, under the leadership of the late Apostle Richard D. Henton.

Apostle Henton was the founder of the Monument of Faith Evangelistic Church, and the R.D. Henton Breakthrough Ministries, both located in Chicago, Illinois

Apostle Richard D. Henton, went home to be with the Lord in October 2015, and the mantle was passed to his son, Apostle Mark A. Henton. In 2016 God gave the call to rebirth M.I.C.A. through this man of God.

M.I.C.A is designed to assist pastors in fulfilling their assignments and duties to their communities. Our goal is to help pastors, co-pastors, and administrators be more effective by providing information, services, products, fellowship, and special workshops conducted by Apostle Dr. Mark A. Henton and the clergy staff. We realize that people perish for a lack of knowledge, as stated in Hosea 4:6. Therefore, we endeavor to equip pastors with valuable information to advance their ministry in the servcie of the Lord and enhance their effectiveness in serving their communitites.

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Salvation is a free gift of God. The death of Christ on the cross is the only sufficient payment for our sins. All have sinned, but all can be saved. This salvation is available for any who put their trust in Christ as Savior and follow Him as the only Lord. Romans 3:23, 6:23; John 3:16
